Ann Crandell-Williams

Ann is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Michigan, holding both clinical and macro designations, and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Prior to NMU, Ann practiced social work for eighteen years in the areas of nonprofit, child welfare, mental health, and criminal justice. Ann received her bachelor's degree in human services from Lake Superior State University and her Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University. 

Within the department, Ann primarily teaches undergraduate practice and human behavior courses. Ann's research interests are focused on families within the correctional system; interprofessional education and practice, and employability of newly qualified social workers.
