COM120: Small Group and Teams Final Project
Huge shoutout to our COM 120: Communication in Small Groups and Teams students for wrapping up the term with a real-world project that made an impact. This semester, teams partnered with the Beaumier Center to develop fresh ideas for reviving and increasing engagement with the folklife festival—and then presented their recommendations directly to community partners. Proud of the work, the collaboration, and the way our students continue to connect classroom learning to meaningful community action.
CAMS Faculty, Students and Alumni Work for Big 3 Concert
Another great example of NMU students putting their skills into action. From behind-the-scenes coordination to hands-on event support, Wildcats played key roles in bringing a major live event to life alongside headliner Chase Matthew. Experiences like this give students real-world insight into media, production, and event management—while building the kind of connections that last well beyond the show.
