Jazz returns to Reynolds Recital Hall--this time from the NMU Jazz Combos! This concert takes place on Wednesday, November 29 at 7:30 p.m. and is free for everyone.
The NMU Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Professor James A. Strain, will present its annual fall semester concert on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 3:00 p.m., in Reynolds Recital Hall. The concert will be performed on standard percussion instruments such as drums, cymbals, gongs, marimbas, xylophones, bells, vibraphones, chimes and timpani. The music will include a variety of musical styles, such as Hip-Hop, World Beat, and classical transcriptions of music from Tchaikovsky’s suite from The Nutcracker and Symphony No. 4, Khachaturian’s Sabre Dance, and William Byrds’ Ave Verum Corpus. There is no admission charge, and the concert will also be live-streamed by the NMU School of Music, Theater, and Dance Broadcasting Network (subscription required), which can be found at https://smtdbroadcasting.nmu.edu.
NMU Department of Music presents the NMU Orchestra in their first concert of the semester. Come watch their performance in Reynolds Recital Hall on Tuesday, October 24. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and is free!

The Winter Semester Job Fair is an opportunity for companies and organizations to discuss full-time jobs and internships with students. There is no cost for students and alumni to attend this event.
Win a Prize! Students/Alumni who register in Handshake and also check in at the job fair will be placed into a drawing. Ten winners will be selected and notified the day after the fair.
There will be an opportunity to get a professional headshot taken at the fair!
