The National Student Employment Association has declared that the second full week in April each year (April 12-18, 2026) be set aside to recognize the value of student employees and student employment professionals.

Supervisors: The purpose of this week is to enhance awareness of student employment and its important role in the higher education experience, to recognize students who perform outstanding work while attending college, and to thank the employer, who hires students for part-time positions. Students gain tremendous benefits from their work experiences while in school, and the skills they develop help them achieve success after college and beyond. For that, we thank you! Fortune Lake is located on a beautiful inland lake in the small Upper Peninsula town of Crystal Falls, Michigan. We're located an hour and a half from Marquette, MI, and about 30 minutes from the Northern Wisconsin border.

Each summer, we provide outdoor ministry experiences to 1,000+ participants. Our two dozen residential summer staff from all over the world provide program leadership and oversight, gaining countless employable skills in the process. Commitment dates are May 25 - August 1, with most weekends off, and pay starts at $400/week. We are specifically seeking female Cabin Leaders and a Media Coordinator. Marine Corps Officer Candidate: The Platoon Leaders Class (PLC) is how the Marine Corps identifies future officers. PLC is a highly selective program open to all undergraduate students. You work with my office to put together an application to be considered by a selection board.

The Winter Semester Job Fair is an opportunity for companies and organizations to discuss full-time jobs, part-time jobs, summer employment, and internships with all majors.  There is no cost for students and alumni to attend this event.

The Virtual Biology Career Fair is an opportunity for companies and organizations to discuss Biology jobs, internships and careers with students. This also includes sustainable energy, government environmental/health, healthcare technicians, managing scientific data, natural resources, ecotourism, etc. There is no cost for employers, students and alumni to attend this event.

This concentrated recruiting event is geared specifically towards students choosing engineering technology, manufacturing and other related majors. This Fair will allow you to visit with students and alumni who are seriously considering the challenging careers related to these fields.
