For employers, post and manage job openings or explore potential candidates using Handshake.

Winter Semester Workshops

Career Services offers career-oriented workshops each semester to current students and NMU alumni.  Each workshop will have both in-person and virtual options and are free to attend.  Topics include resume and cover letter building, tips for attending job fairs, networking, interview skills, salary negotiation and more!

Recent Alumni Survey - Where has life taken you so far?

We want to know!

What are you doing? Did NMU help you get there? How can we support you now? And what can we do better for current and future Wildcats?

Take our 10-minute recent alumni survey and help us improve the university. Each respondent will get four NMU and Marquette-themed computer backgrounds, and 20 randomly selected respondents will also receive an NMU swag bag.

Did you know? NMU employs approximately 1,600 students. The departments with the most student employees are Dining Services, Athletics, and Housing and Residence Life.

Looking for a job while attending NMU? Check out Handshake - our job-posting system!  Once you have registered for classes, we will create an account for you associated with your NMU email address. Please allow 3-5 business days for this to happen.  To access your account, log into MyNMU and click on 'Handshake' under the 'Student Services' tab.
