Annual WellBeing Fair

WellBeing Wheel, divided into 8 wedges of physical, social, spiritual, emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, and career.

Campus WellBeing

The NMU WellBeing Fair is open to students, faculty, and staff, which highlights local businesses and community partners who support wellbeing. The fair's purpose is to create a welcoming, educational, and engaging environment where participants can explore local resources, services, screenings, and offerings that support wellbeing across all of the eight dimensions: physical, emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual, financial, career, and environmental.

The fair will take place on Thursday, March 26th, from 10:00am to 3:00pm in the Northern Center Ballrooms. The first 200 participants to check in at the welcome table will receive a WellBeing tote bag. Those who complete the wellbeing passport by checking off each of the dimensions by visiting corresponding stations will be entered to win a variety of prizes, sponsored by the fair vendors.

Adulthood 101 Series Launches

NMU Logo on bricks

Campus WellBeing

Adulthood 101 is a workshop series focused on improving wellbeing through the honing of practical life skills. Coordinated by WellBeing Promotions and led by a variety of staff and faculty across campus in their areas of expertise, this series creates a supportive space to explore topic areas that students may feel hesitant to ask about, such as food safety, car care, grief and healing, health insurance, and managing other responsibilities. By normalizing learning and growth as an adult, these workshops aim to build confidence, reduce stress, and empower participants to feel more capable in their day-to-day lives.

Workshops run as stand-alone events, but participants are encouraged to join any sessions that interest them. More sessions are planned for after spring break as well.
