Upcoming 2024 Classes

February 13, 2024 - Alternate Light Source 

Join us for a one-day ALS workshop designed to provide students with intensive hands-on experience in using ALS techniques to identify body fluids, fibers and more on crime scenes. Students will also learn how to properly document their results in written reports and photography. 

February 14-15, 2024 - Advanced Latent Fingerprinting 

Join us for a two-day in-depth latent print workshop that is designed to give the student an intensive hands-on experience covering techniques such as supergluing, powdering/lifting, major case prints, photography of latent prints, and advanced chemicals for print enhancement (including SPR, Amido Black, and more).

July 18-19, 2024 - Scenario Based Homicide Investigation: Bridging Theoretical & Practical Evidence

Join us for a 1 1/2 day (12 hrs.) training that will provide attendees with instruction on suspectology, victimology, behavioral evidence, and practical homicide investigative techniques. Attendees will participate in classroom instruction, case study analysis, and scenario-based exercises to learn about the evaluation of crimes for the purpose of identifying suspects in homicide investigations, understanding the relationships between victims and offenders, and the analysis of crime scene evidence and investigative techniques. 

Spring 2025 - Bloodstain Pattern Recognition & Blood Processing for Forensic Scenes

This 1-day in-depth course is designed to aide crime scene investigators in recognizing bloodstain patterns for scene documentation and applying forensic chemicals for latent bloodstain development and presumptive blood testing.

Spring 2025 - Crime Scene Drawing & Sketching

This fun, challenging, and intensive hands-on 2-day course is designed to improve the forensic drawings and sketches produced by crime scene technicians. This course implements a "crawl, walk, run" philosophy to build confidence in the sketcher to produce high quality and informative sketches.
