FACULTY-LED AND SERVICE LEARNING ABROAD AT NMU

The International Programs Office provides support for faculty-led and service learning programs abroad. These program types include:

  • Faculty-led programs
  • Service learning experiences

The IPO is here to partner with faculty and staff across campus to create enriching educational experience for students enrolled in your program.  The IPO supports programming at each stage of the process, from the initial site assessment and host country contacts, through budgeting, travel-related contracts, student recruitment, and pre-departure orientation. We will also assist you in planning effective strategies for risk management and emergency preparedness.
