What You’ll Do at NMU
The Mathematics and Computer Science Department at NMU offers programs in mathematics, computer science, and data science, including options in mobile and web app development and mathematics education.
In our programs, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in research projects and explore emerging technologies in our specialty labs. You’ll work with robotics, the latest mathematical modeling tools, and programming platforms, with opportunities to develop projects ranging from video games to applications in artificial intelligence.
Inside and outside the classroom, you’ll collaborate with faculty and peers to apply classroom concepts to real-world problems and projects.
