The 2022 Summer Michigan Association of Physical Plant Administrators Conference “Facilities: Every day is an adventure! Embrace it!” The conference will take place Wednesday, June 29 through Friday, July 1, on the Northern Michigan University’s campus in Marquette, Mich., which is located on the southern shore of Lake Superior. Come for professional development, but turn the trip north into a vacation in an award-winning summer wonderland.

Northern Michigan University welcomes the participants of the MiAPPA 2022 Summer Conference to our campus. We think you’ll find NMU and Marquette to be modern, historic, sustainable and innovative. We have developed an interesting number of MiAPPA Conference presentations that tie to the conference theme and focus on the most interesting or challenging problems institutions have faced and how they worked through them.
Marquette named "Distinctive Destination"
Marquette was not only honored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation as one of the top U.S. distinctive destinations offering “an authentic visitor experience by combining dynamic downtown, cultural diversity, attractive architecture, cultural landscapes and a strong commitment to historic preservation, sustainability and revitalization” — but it was also voted as the fan favorite in the 2010 contest.

This year’s MiAPPA Golf Outing will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 29 at the NMU Golf Course in Marquette, MI.
