Guidebook - MiAPPA 2022 Summer Conference

Welcome to Northern Michigan University in beautiful Marquette, Michigan for the Summer 2022 MiAPPA Conference.  It has been three years since the last MiAPPA conference, so it is great to be here all together again in person. We are excited about the program we have put together from the pre-conference activities experiencing the greater Marquette area to the professional development and networking opportunities to the dinner theater in which you will have to figure out, “who dun it?”

The conference theme, "Facilities: Every day is an adventure. Embrace it!" has definitely described the last two-and-a-half years navigating the pandemic and its far-reaching effects. Now, here we are able to look back and share our experiences including discussing the most difficult or unique facilities problems we have faced and how we addressed them. We will have many more challenges to face in the next couple of years so this opportunity to support and learn from each other is priceless.

 We hope you enjoy the conference and all the opportunities provided to explore our campus and the greater Marquette area.  We think you’ll find both NMU and Marquette to be distinctive destinations that are historically rich, modern, and sustainable.
