November 13: In-Person Seizure First Aid Training
Knowing how to recognize a seizure and provide seizure first aid could save a life. The Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan will be providing Seizure Recognition and First Aid Training at Northern Michigan University on November 13. Learn more and register at the link below.
This training is presented by the NMU Center for Rural Health and the Epilepsy Foundation of Michigan.
On-Demand Training
The Seizure First Aid Ready course educates the public on the Epilepsy Foundation’s basic procedures for responding to someone having a seizure.
This on-demand course was designed for direct training of the public. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion.
Paint the Rink Purple
On November 11th, the NMU Wildcat men's hockey team will take on Lake Superior State at the Berry Events Center. This game will serve as a Paint the Rink Purple game in honor of Epilepsy Awareness. Come and show your support by wearing purple and participating in events!
