MEET THE SHINE INTERNS

Grace Freed, is our Native Plant Intern. Grace is currently studying Environmental Studies and Sustainability.

“As Earth’s inhabitants, we each have a responsibility to repair the environmental harm humans have caused and to work to improve it. To me, sustainability offers a path forward where we can meet our needs today without compromising the ability of future generations to inherit a thriving planet. This planet is forever our only home, and I love the outdoors and all that Earth provides. It’s essential to show that we respect our home through sustainable actions and decisions, otherwise, we risk losing what matters most.”
