Used Book Sale, Friends of Peter White Public Library - September 26-28

The Used Book Sale will take place in the Peter White Public Library Community Room. The presale is on Thursday, September 26, from 5-8 pm, with a $5 admission fee. The sale occurs on Friday, September 27, from 9:30 am to 5 pm, with no admission fee. There will be a half-off sale on Saturday, September 28, from 9:30 am to 4 pm, with no admission fee. Wear Orange for Every Child - September 30 

The Sault Ste Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians and NMU's Center for Native American Studies are hosting an evening to honor the children who were lost, the survivors of the residential schools, their families, and their communities. Meet at the Seven Grandfather Sculpture at Mattson Lower Harbor Park at 6 pm and wear orange. 

 

Manoomin (Wild Rice) Camp - October 5

NMU Food Pantry 

The fall semester hours for the NMU Food Pantry are: 

101D Jacobetti - Mondays from 1-3 pm & Thursdays 1-4 pm

101B Gries Hall - Mondays from 8 am - 1:30 pm, Tuesdays from 9 am - 4 pm, Wednesdays from 12 pm - 5 pm, and Fridays from 12 pm - 4 pm 


 

STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS 

Conservation Crew 

Friday, Sept. 27th at 5:30 pm - Campus Cleanup. Plan for 2 hours of being outside. Meet at the OLA and we will spread out around campus. All supplies will be provided.

Sunday, Sept. 29th at 11 am - Little Garlic Falls hike and picnic. Bring a snack and water along!
