Sustainable Citizen Badge - Sustainability Hub for Innovation & Environment

SHINE at Northern Michigan University now offers a Sustainable Citizen Badge, a free, self-paced sustainability mini-course for anyone to earn a Sustainable Citizen Badge!

This course provides an overview of key sustainability concepts and shares examples of what NMU is doing to reduce our impact on the planet. You will learn several definitions, gain insights into different aspects of sustainability, and get a variety of tools to help you live lighter on the planet. Positive social change requires many different actions at many different scales, from individuals to institutions. By working together we can create a more sustainable world. 

You can register for the Sustainable Citizen Badge by emailing Continuing Education at conteduc@nmu.edu, and ask to be enrolled in the Sustainable Citizen course. The Continuing Education office will send you a link to enroll. Become a Sustainable Citizen with us!
