Alexis M. Hart

Alexis M. Hart is currently Executive HR Director of Daimler Trucks North America where she is responsible for the Culture, Leadership, and Development departments, additionally she is the Executive HR Director for Daimler Truck Financial Services and Daimler International Assignment Services. Previously she served as Director of HR Shared Services for all divisions of the NAFTA organization with Daimler North America Corporation; and the Senior Manager of Human Resources for Mercedes-Benz Financial Services USA LLC, where she was responsible for overseeing the company’s HR operations and talent management. She started with the organization that was Chrysler Corporation in 1997 and has served a role in all aspects of Human resources to include both salaried and union employees.
Hart served on the board of Junior Achievement of Chisolm Trail in Texas. She is certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and is also a member of the Society of Human Resources Management. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Michigan State University, and a master’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Hart, of Royal Oak, was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Rick Snyder on December 15, 2016, for a term beginning January 1, 2017 and continuing until December 31, 2024. She replaced Dr. H. Sook Willkinson, whose term expired on December 31, 2016.
