Description |
Commercial motor vehicle operators are subject to pre-employment drug testing, and post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing. Testing is mandatory if the driver is involved in a fatal accident. Passenger vehicle drivers are required to be tested prior to employment. The Code of Federal Regulations sets forth the procedures for administering drug and alcohol testing as mandated by the DOT. |
