- The Department of Education's General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR) regulate the administration of grants and agreements with certain programs, including direct grant programs, state administered programs, drug and alcohol abuse prevention programs, and research involving human subjects.
- For awards made prior to 12/26/2014, EDGAR parts 74 and 80 (related to administration of grants and agreements with institutions of higher education and with state and local governments) still apply (to view prior versions of the CFR and for additional explanation, visit here). For awards made on or after 12/26/2014, 2 CFR Part 200, which includes the substance formerly in parts 74 and 80, applies.
