It is required that NMU participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA) for the institution to offer distance education out of Michigan. This agreement is tied to the reporting of out-of-state learners and placements. The actual renewal happens at the state level and is communicated by James Farhat (LEO) (farhatj@michigan.gov). The fee is typically $4,000. |
