Alumni and friends are invited to join President Brock Tessman for a chat on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at 7 p.m. Eastern. President Tessman will share campus updates, answer questions, and virtually connect with alumni and friends of the Wildcat community. The event will begin with a welcome from NMU Alumni Advisory Board President Chris Charboneau ’93 BS.

Questions will be taken live during the event via the Q&A function on Zoom, and alumni can submit questions ahead of time during registration. Registration is required. Once alumni and friends register, they will receive the Zoom link to join the conversation. Those who register are automatically entered into a t-shirt drawing and five winners will be chosen during the event.

Join us for a special screening of A Two Hearted Tale and a Q&A with the directors on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at 5 p.m. in room 165 of the Art and Design Building. 

Daily screenings in the Museum Monday through Saturday at 3 pm; Thursdays at 3 pm and 7 pm.

Bell’s Two-Hearted Ale is America’s No.1 IPA. The now infamous & iconic trout image is found in every convenience store nationwide. The legends behind this label and many others have been buried in folklore for nearly 40 years, but the vision created at Bell’s started a revolution in the craft brewing industry that changed what a beer label could be. This is the unconventional story of an artist whose love of fishing, Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, and beer found its way into every store in America

Join us for free film screenings:

Community

Graduating seniors from the School of Art and Design present their work. This semester, the exhibition features students concentrating in art education, ceramics, computer art, graphic design, human-centered design, and illustration.

Participating Artists Include: Brooke Ashworth, Ray Bonney, Josh Brehm, Kaitlynn Park, Destiny Smejkal, Olivia Vera, Ilah Wilson, and Elina Zhang.

Awards will be announced at 8 p.m.
