Transfer Direct Admission from Bay College

What is the Direct Admissions Program?

Through this program, you'll be admitted to NMU while you're enrolled at Bay College and won’t be required to submit an application to NMU in the future!

Experience a seamless transition from Bay College to NMU and become a part of the NMU community right away! Here’s how:

Receive NMU advising during your time at Bay College to support your transfer
Access NMU services and support
Attend NMU sporting events and theatre productions at student pricing
Receive one free official transcript sent directly from Bay College to NMU

It’s easy! When you submit your application to Bay College, simply check the box to indicate you’re interested in the Direct Admissions program with NMU, and you’ll automatically be admitted to NMU while you’re enrolled at Bay College.

Shortly after the start of your first semester at Bay College, you’ll receive a “Welcome” email from NMU confirming your enrollment in the program.

At that point, we’ll get you more information on your next steps - the first being setting up your advising meeting with NMU!

In this meeting, we’ll discuss important transfer planning resources, how to access NMU advising support and benefits, and other important details regarding the Direct Admission Program.
