Whether you have been out of NMU one semester or longer, there are several steps you must take to re-enroll. The following re-entry student checklist can help with the process of re-entering NMU.

Who is my adviser | Your adviser is assigned at the start of the semester (approximately one month after classes begin) | If you need assistance before the start of the semester, you should contact your major department and inform them you are re-entering NMU and need assistance. Adviser hold | If you have completed fewer than 18 NMU credits, or if you are on academic probation | You will need to meet with your adviser to have the hold lifted prior to registering for classes |
