Research Interests:
My areas of interest include all aspects of organic synthesis and synthetic methodology. Novel organic materials, free radical reactions and control of asymmetry are of particular interest. Current research projects include the development of methodology for and the synthesis of nonplanar "aromatic" hydrocarbons related to fullerenes, asymmetric induction utilizing Diels-Alder adducts, applications to the synthesis of natural products, and the development of new, synthetically useful radical trapping agents.
