Research Interests:
My research interests lie in synthetic inorganic chemistry with particular emphasis upon polyhedral borane chemistry. Students working on these projects use multi-nuclear NMR and IR for characterization of compounds as well as special synthetic techniques for handling air-sensitive compounds.
Teaching Interests:
My primary teaching interests lie in freshman chemistry and inorganic chemistry. Accordingly, I teach CHEM 111, CHEM 112, CHEM 215 (Chemistry of the Elements) and CHEM 415 (Inorganic Chemistry).
