Faculty and graduates will be respected nurse clinicians, educators, and scholars who are dedicated to lifelong learning and advancement of the profession.
Mission
The mission of the NMU School of Nursing is to empower learners through meaningful experiences and strong community partnerships, preparing nurses to provide high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care. We foster a collegial, innovative environment that cultivates critical thinking, creativity, and leadership to advance health equity and promote the well-being and vitality of individuals, families, and communities across the Upper Peninsula and beyond.
