Celebrate your birthday with NMU Recreational Sports! Choose from one of the following birthday party packages:

  • Climbing Wall Party - 2 hr
  • Swimming Pool Party - 2 hr
  • Combination Pool/Climbing wall (1 hour each-total 2 hr)

Fall 2024 Party Availability (parties scheduled between 1pm-4pm on Saturday's and Sunday's):

Winter 2025 Party Availability (parties scheduled between 1pm-4pm on Saturday's and Sunday's) **Will begin taking reservation requests for birthday parties for Winter 2025 beginning on January 6, 2025.

Party Package Includes:

  • Two hours of specialized staff  for no more than 20 attendees ($5 for each attendee over 20)
    • Participants must be 4+ years old to participate in the party
  • Party area reserved in the PEIF Rec Area or PEIF Classroom
  • Birthday party planner provided to assist in the flow of the party
  • Birthday Card from Wildcat Willy and the Campus Rec Staff 

*NMU Rec Sports prohibits food that is not pre-packaged to be brought to the Rec Center due to staff/patron allergies. Cake/Cupcakes/Ice Cream are permitted to be brought in along with "goody bags" for party attendees. 

Party Cost:

$240 - 2 Hour Party

*Full payment is due within 48 hours of party confirmation. Refunds will only be given if cancellations are received 48 hours prior to the party, less a credit card processing fee ($50). 

How to Book a Party

  • Click "Sign In" to login  (NMU SSO-mynmu) or create a profile
  • Fill out request form
  • Add as much information about the party you are requesting into the "comments" 
  • Parties are only scheduled on available Saturday's or Sundays between 1pm-4pm
  • Requests received less than 2 weeks in advance will not be considered
  • Parties are only scheduled from September-April. Parties are not scheduled during NMU holiday breaks.
