About the Team
Established during winter semester 2026. The NMU Stunt Club is a team that provides individuals with an exciting opportunity to learn and practice stunts in a welcoming, safe, and collaborative environment. We are dedicated to growth and learning, offering club members the chance to develop their skills and learn how to stunt in any position and on any level while working on tumbling and jumps. Along with providing the opportunity to compete if desired. Whether you’re a casual stunt enthusiast or a retired competitive cheerleader wanting to stunt, this club is for you. Feel free to join us occasionally or at every practice.
Dues:
Every club member must purchase a Fall/Winter NMU recreation pass. This is included in tuition and fees for all students enrolled in at least six in class credits.
There are currently no dues; it is expected that you cover the cost of traveling, your personal uniform, and anything else that you might need if you wish to compete.
Currently no dues for open gyms.
Travel:
There will be travel opportunities for those who are interested in competing in the winter semester. We will be traveling downstate to Grand Valley and Alma. Carpooling for those who wish to attend, with the expectation of helping out with gas money.
Practice:
Held twice a week in the Superior Dome. All practices will be open to prospective members. In order to compete, all practices will be mandatory.
We understand that school and work obligations come first, so if you are dedicated to being a member of the team, we will work with you and your schedule. Please wear athletic clothes and smooth-soled shoes.
