About the Team
The NMU Club Swim Team started in 2025. We are a co-ed team with the purpose of providing a place for people who want to keep swimming in a competitive atmosphere. At practice, we focus on improving our strokes, flip-turns, and breathing, while getting in at least 2,000–2,500 yards each session. We strive to have team bonding at least once a month, if not more, to help bring the team together. We’re part of the CCS league (College Club Swimming) and compete in 3–4 meets each semester, including two conferences, Regionals, and a dual meet against Michigan Tech.

Dues:
Yearly dues are around $270. This will pay for the league, lifeguard/ pool time, and a team cap. There is no official uniform but they team may agree on a swimsuit to all get together.

Requirements:
You must have a rec sport pass, be able to swim 50yd, own a swimsuit and goggles.

Travel:
We carpool to Meets /conferences. If you qualify for nationals, you’re responsible for your own travel in the event you want to attend.

Practice:
Practices are held in the PEIF pool during evening hours, 7-9p.m.
