Emily Burbey

Born and raised in Marquette, Michigan, Emily Burbey is a graphic designer, marketing professional, and a paid choreographer and performer. Emily graduated from NMU with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and minors is Dance and Marketing in May 2022. Using her passion and education in these areas, she now works for the Department of Theatre and Dance as a Graphic Designer and the Marketing and Box Office Manager. Emily has been performing in community and theatre productions since a young age and loves to stay involved in dance, theatre, music, and art in her community. Her most theatre endeavours include NMU's production of Mamma Mia 2019 (Ensemble), Superior Arts Youth Theatre productions of Frozen Jr. 2019 (Choreographer) and Descendants 2021 (Choreographer), North Coast Theatre Festival's production of Rock of Ages 2023 (Ensemble), and Detriot Dance Festival 2024 (Ensemble Dancer).
