Professional/Personal Biography:
I grew up in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and went to Northern where I studied Art and Design with a concentration in Digital Cinema and a minor in Hospitality Systems. My passion for film and a dream to work for Disney is what brought me to NMU. Throughout my time there, I loved being involved in the Northern community, as well as the Marquette community. In fall of 2022, I moved across the country to participate in the Disney College Program in Orlando, Florida, all while being a full-time Northern student. In that role, I got to interact everyday with guests from around the globe as an attractions cast member in Epcot. Upon completion of my program, I moved back to Marquette to finish my degree and graduated in May of 2024. Most recently, I completed a year-long Disney Professional Internship where I created social media content for Disney Programs. In each one of my experiences, sharing stories is at the heart of it all, and now I get to do that with prospective students and help them find their path!
Most Memorable College Experience:
My most memorable college experience was being an orientation leader and living in Marquette over the summer! I may be from Wisconsin but snow is far from my favorite thing. Being able to see and experience the Upper Peninsula during the summer was magical!
Favorite Marquette Activity:
The best thing about Marquette is that there is something for everyone. As a photographer, my favorite activity is going out to see the Northern Lights at Little Presque Isle!
Best advice you received regarding college or would give someone else entering college:
It never hurts to just ask. The worst thing people could say is no, but when the answer is yes, that is when the doors of opportunity open. Use your time as a student to build the courage to ask the questions and not be intimidated by rejection.
