About the Team
The Women's Club Volleyball team is seeking interested individuals that have prior playing experience and would like to be a part of the club volleyball team at NMU. The club is actively seeking members who can commit to two practices per week, play at various tournaments, and like doing team bonding activities. The team was formed to create a competitive level of play for students interested in continuing their volleyball careers beyond high school. Prior club volleyball experience or high school varsity experience is highly recommended. Tryouts will be held at the start of each semester.
Details
Dues: Team dues are approx. $225 and include a warm up shirt. Dues are determined at the beginning of each season and are based on the number of tournaments we will attend.
Travel: As a club, we will be looking into various tournaments. In the past, the Women’s Club Volleyball team has competed in tournaments at the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, UW Madison, Marquette University, University of Minnesota, and Michigan Technological University.
Eligibility: Members must be full-time students at NMU and may have to meet a minimum GPA requirement that is yet to be determined.
