Women's Soccer Team

About the Team

About the Team
The NMU Women's Club Soccer team began in 2006 and is currently working to build the program. The purpose of this club is to give female students the opportunity to play soccer at a fun, yet competitive level. The women in this group strive to develop team and individual skills, along with staying physically active. We are currently in the Women's Midwest Alliance Soccer Conference - Great Lakes Division, with the opportunity to move on to compete in the regional tournament. We will play at least 10 games throughout our fall season.

Dues:
Yearly dues are around $300. This will pay for the league, field reservation, referees, and hotel and travel costs. Uniforms and equipment will stay with the team. Members are also required to have a PEIF pass for fall and winter semesters.

Participants Must Supply:
Soccer cleats and shin guards.

Travel:
We will carpool to various parts of Wisconsin and Michigan for season games.

Tryouts:
Tryouts will be held the first week of classes and all skill levels are welcomed.

Practice:
Practices are held at the fields on the corner of Wright St. and Lincoln St. These will take place twice a week and game time will depend on attendance.
