If you have submitted your Undergraduate Application for Admission and would like to check the status of your application, you are in the right place!
Please note: once NMU receives your application for admission and/or transcript(s), it may take up to 7 days for NMU to process these documents. They will not appear as received in appcheck until they have been processed.
NMU Undergraduate Application Information
NMU does not have application or enrollment deposit deadlines for first-year freshman applicants or transfer applicants. We will work with each applicant and admitted student individually as your situation warrants. Please contact us for assistance via firstname.lastname@example.org and a staff member will respond as soon as possible.
We will process transcripts in the order they are received. As soon as they are processed, the notation of "received" will appear on the application status check tool.
Students who have applied to re-enter the university should also check mynmu.nmu.edu for any holds that may impact their admission or registration status.

The Admissions office is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the school year. Summer Hours (May-August) are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
