One of her daughters recently moved into the dorms on Northern’s campus.
Since joining Marquette Area Public Schools, Amanda has had a variety of roles including special education aide, social studies teacher, special education teacher, school psychologist assistant, administrator, and NMU adjunct instructor. With this background, Amanda is passionate about creating schools where every student knows their value, feels supported, challenged and connected. Amanda believes that great schools and communities are built on relationships, high expectations, teamwork, and the courage to get uncomfortable by trying new things.
"I am proud to call Marquette home and help make it a community where we can live, grow, learn, and raise families. I also love bringing people together, finding creative solutions and turning ideas into action. I am excited for this incredible opportunity to bring this energy, connection, and commitment to the NMU Alumni Board! Go Sentinels! Go 'Cats!"
