Calling all NMU Alumni—our Wildcat ambassadors out in the wild! NMU Admissions is hitting the road for a Midwest Tour, and we want YOU to be part of it! Join us to share your unforgettable NMU experience and help inspire the next generation of Wildcats.
Grand Traverse Distillery
Saturday, April 11, 2026, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Eastern
Join fellow Wildcats and friends for a special Northern Michigan University alumni gathering at Grand Traverse Distillery—an alumni-founded distillery in the heart of Traverse City. This relaxed afternoon event is a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, meet new friends, and celebrate NMU pride while enjoying one of the region’s premier craft distilleries.
Guests will enjoy private tours of the distillery, samples of handcrafted spirits, and light food while learning more about the distilling process and the story behind this alumni-founded business. The event is open to all ages, and families are welcome to attend. Please note that guests must be 21 or older to participate in the tasting portion of the event.
This event is complimentary for NMU alumni, courtesy of Grand Traverse Distillery. Not an alum? No problem! Friends and guests are welcome to attend for $20, with payment collected at the event by the distillery.
