NCLL OFFERS WOODWORKERS RALLY

Wednesday 14, 2009
The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will sponsor “Woodworkers Rally Session III,” an opportunity for beginning and advanced woodworkers to learn some skills and create a project of their own. It will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Mondays Jan. 19 through Feb. 23, in room 137 of the Jacobetti Skills Center.

Instructor Cairl Moore will suggest appropriate tools to use, demonstrate and describe tool uses, skills, safety, and finishing techniques, as well as some “tricks of the trade”.

The opportunity to use NMU’s shop tools is included, but participants must provide their own plans and materials.

The cost is $30 for NCLL members and $65 for non-members. Register by the Jan. 16 deadline by contacting class liaison Paula McCormick at 228-5489.
