NCLL OFFERS WINTER CARNIVAL TOUR

The Northern Center for Lifelong Living is sponsoring a tour from Marquette to the Annual Winter Carnival in Houghton on Thursday, Feb. 5.
Participants will have an opportunity to view the ice sculptures created by Michigan Tech students and tour the campus. There will be an alternative energy update at the Sustainable Futures Institute and a behind-the-scenes look at the Rozsa Center for the Performing Arts, as well as a chance to tour the A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum and to do some local sightseeing.
Fred Huffman will be the host and guide. The van will be meeting interested parties in three locations: 7 a.m. pickup and 7 p.m. dropoff at the east parking lot of the Berry Events Center in Marquette; 7:20 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. at the Border Grill parking lot in Negaunee; or 7:35 a.m. and 6: 30 p.m. at the Jubilee parking lot in Ishpeming.
The registration deadline is Friday, Jan. 30. The cost is $25 for NCLL members and $30 for nonmembers. To register, contact Jim Matteson at 228-4165.
