HERITAGE CENTER SEEKS JEWISH PHOTOS AND ARTIFACTS

            The Beaumier Upper Peninsula Heritage Center is inviting members of the local Jewish community to loan personal photos and artifacts to an upcoming exhibit. The center, located at Northern Michigan University, will host a traveling display titled “Uneasy Years: Michigan Jewry during Depression and War.” 

Director Daniel Truckey said he welcomes any materials related to the lives and activities of Michigan Jews during that historical period. The exhibition will be on display April 4 through May 16.
