NCLL OFFERS TOUR OF ARGONICS INC.

MARQUETTE, Mich.−The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a guided tour of local manufacturing firm Argonics Inc. at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 8. The tour will be presented by Mike Brinker, the plant’s manager.



According to the company’s Web site, www.argonics.com, “Argonics formulates a variety of proprietary performance-based polyurethane materials and services to specifically meet the needs of industrial applications around the globe. As a leader in the concrete, aggregate, agriculture and mining industries, Argonics is known as the solutions provider to all of these industries' hard-to-solve wear problems.” The company has been named one of Michigan’s best small businesses.



The registration deadline is Monday, April 6. There is a $4 fee for NCLL members and a $7 fee for non-members. To register, contact class liaison Carole Bard at 228-9367.
