‘A TASTE OF BROADWAY’ CABARET SHOW AT NMU

            Northern Michigan University’s Lake Effect show choir presents a cabaret-style concert, “A Taste of Broadway,” at 6:30 p.m., on Thursday, April 23, in the Great Lakes Rooms of the University Center.

            The 17-member ensemble under the direction of Sharon Green will perform a compilation of Broadway musical selections, including “Another Op’nin, Another Show” from Kiss Me Kate, “Sun and Moon” from Miss Saigon, “Love Changes Everything” from Aspects of Love and several selections from Wicked. Soloists will perform numbers from Mamma Mia, Cinderella, Guys &Dolls, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Light hors d’oeuvres and desserts will be served as part of the program. Tickets cost $15 are on sale until Tuesday, April 20, at the NMU music department office or Forsberg Flowers on Third Street. No tickets will be sold at the door.
