Michael Lizotte, director of the aquatic research laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, will present “Polar Oceans, Ice and Lakes as Simple Model Systems for Microbial Ecology” at Northern Michigan University.

The biology seminar is scheduled at 4 p.m. Friday, May 1, in Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building. The public is invited free of charge.
