MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will sponsor a presentation and site tour related to the Silver Lake Dam rebuilding project from 12:30- 4 p.m. Thursday, June 4.

            Participants will meet at the Berry Events Center east parking lot and travel to the Upper Peninsula Power Company offices in Ishpeming. UPPCO project manager Bob Meyers will give a half-hour presentation on the rebuilding of Silver Lake Dam before leading a guided tour to view the new dam and spillway.

            The cost of the program is $4 for NCLL members and $7 for non-members. To register by the June 1 deadline, contact class liaison Al Reynolds at 360-4167.
