NCLL PRESENTS ‘ART OF FLY FISHING’

The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present “The Art of Fly Fishing” from 12:30-5 p.m. Thursday, June 11.
Members of the Fred Waara Chapter of Trout Unlimited will teach the fundamentals of the sport. Participants will see flies tied on the spot and learn about what the flies imitate. They will also be briefed on the equipment needed to cast a fly and learn to cast through hands-on instruction. All equipment is provided and a fishing license is not required.
Participants will meet at Jack’s Foods in Harvey and proceed to Strawberry Lake. Cost is $4 for NCLL members and $7 for non-members. The registration deadline is Monday, June 8. Contact class liaison John Klasner at 249-1348.
