NCLL PRESENTS 'NATIVE REPTILES AND AMPHIBIANS'

Friday 10, 2009
MARQUETTE, Mich.—Reptiles and amphibians native to Michigan will be the topic of a Northern Center for Lifelong Learning program from 4:30-7 p.m. Thursday, July 16. Ryne Rutherford, an avid participant in the DNR’s Michigan Atlas surveys, will lead the presentation.

Participants will meet at Prince of Peace Church in Harvey. Rutherford will give a slide presentation and then lead a “field herping” outing at Lake LeVasseur to find reptiles and amphibians in their natural environment.

The cost of the program is a donation to the Moosewood Nature Center in Marquette. Advance registration is requested by Tuesday, July 14. Contact Marge Forslin at 869-4791.
