The Northern Michigan University Regional Police Academy will host an informational meeting for prospective participants on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The session is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. in room 132 of the NMU Jacobetti Center on Sugarloaf Avenue. 

Topic areas will include Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) requirements to enter the academy, NMU requirements for enrollment, an overview of the academy and a question-and-answer period.
