The Halloween trick-or-treating event held annually in the Northern Michigan University residence halls has been canceled as a precautionary measure to prevent the possible spread of the seasonal or H1N1 flu virus. The event, which had been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31, will return next year. For questions, contact the NMU Housing and Residence Life office at 227-2620.
