JAZZ COMBO CONCERT AT NMU

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Michigan University music department will present a free student/faculty jazz combo concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, in Reynolds Recital Hall.
This concert is a tribute to the famous band leader Red Norvo, who established the xylophone and vibraphone as jazz instruments. The combo will recreate small combo music and transcriptions of solos by Norvo.
