NCLL PRESENTS 10th MOUNTAIN DIVISION PROGRAM

            MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a lecture on the 10th Mountain Division during WWII at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, in room C108 of the Superior Dome.

            Walter Cook, a veteran of WWII, will share the significance of the 10th Mountain Division as well as a little history of this military unit made of skiers, mountaineers, college students and other outdoors people. A few photos and pieces of literature will be shared.

            There is a registration fee of $4 for NCLL members and $7 for nonmembers. The registration deadline is Friday, Feb. 26. Contact Jim Matteson at 228-4156.
