NCLL TOURS POWDER MILL AREA

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will hold a tour of the Powder Mill area by the Dead River at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 13.
This is one of the last chances to visit the site before the replacement dam is built and the site goes underwater forever. Local historian Dan Hornbogen will discuss his research on this area, accompanied by sketches and photos.
The registration deadline for this tour is Friday, July 9. To register, contact class liaison Al Reynolds at either 360-4167 or 475-9835. This class is free for NCLL members and costs $5 for non-members.
