NCLL PRESENTS TALK ON PRESCRIPTION DRUG ABUSE

MARQUETTE, Mich.—The Northern Center for Lifelong Living will sponsor a presentation titled “Prescription Drug Abuse in our County” at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, in the Northern Michigan University Superior Dome, room C-108.
Sarah Derwin, a Marquette County Health Department educator, will talk about the scope of the problem in the Marquette area, what drugs are being abused, how individuals are obtaining them and what can be done to prevent it.
This presentation costs $4 for NCLL members and $7 for non-members. The registration deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 15. Contact class liaison Carol Margrif at 249-9975.
